When you publish a page, this page always gets a unique URL. By default, this URL is made up of a number of parts. A default page URL of a Ziber website looks like this:
https://www.ziber.nl/pg-6457-7-11080/pagina/kwieb.html
The URL always starts with your domain name (and of course https or http before it) and then a piece of code that ensures that the correct page is called (in this case /pg-6457-7-11080/pagina/
). After that comes the part that makes your URLs search engine friendly, which is the name or label of the page.
Page also accessible via shortened URL
For external communication, for example in an advertisement or a flyer, it is better to use the shortened URL. Every page you create can also be reached by default via a shortened URL. You do this by calling the page by filling in the 'label' (name) of the page directly after your domain name (https://www.ziber.nl/ for example). So in this case:
Do you have a page label with spaces? Then you can use the HTML value for a space where the spaces are: %20
. A space is not a valid value in a URL.
