A frequently asked wish of customers was to be able to turn off the Sidebar on a number of pages in the website, so that the page is displayed over the full width. Great as a homepage or landing page. From now on it is possible to switch the sidebar on or off per page in the page management in Gnap.
This option is not reflected in Default Sitelite and Webbly (these sites do not have a sidebar by default).
Turn sidebar on or off
When you go to 'Pages' from the main menu of Gnap, you will see an overview of all pages within your website. Here you will see a green (active) or gray (inactive) check mark behind each page, under the heading 'sidebar'. If you want to disable the sidebar for a specific page, you can click on the green check mark - the check mark will then become gray. This means that no sidebar is shown for this page anymore. When a visitor to your website visits this page, the content of your page is displayed across the entire website width.
Sidebar left or right?
If you prefer to see the sidebar for your website on the other side of your website, please contact your designer. The designer can set for your entire website whether the sidebar should be shown on the left or right.
