Your mobile website is automatically displayed when the visitor visits your website with a mobile phone. This is done via a separate (sub)domain, usually m.yourdomainname.nl . You can decide for yourself which (sub)domain you want to use for this via the domain management in Gnap.
It is also possible to remove the domain name link here - or make it invisible - so that your mobile website no longer 'works'. Visitors to your site (on a mobile device) will see the desktop/tablet version.
Via the Main menu of Gnap, click on 'My [Ziber site]', after which you will see this menu (at the bottom). Here click on 'Domain management':
Turn off your mobile website
By default, there are 2 domain names here, one is your own mobile URL - m.yourdomainname.nl - and one that we manage at Ziber - yourdomainname.m.sitehand.nl (in the case of a Sitehand). The latter is always there, this is the 'product domain'. You cannot delete these.
Behind both domain names are a number of icons. The first icon is the check mark, with which you can indicate which domain name is the 'default'. Next to it is the eye, with which you can (temporarily) turn off the mobile website. If the eye behind your own domain (in the case below m.gebakshop.nl ) is grey, then you have turned off the mobile website for that domain name. This means that when a visitor to your website (on that domain name, also www.) visits your website on a mobile phone, this visitor will see the desktop/tablet site.
Clear the mobile domain name
It is also possible to completely delete the mobile domain name. Even then, your mobile website will be turned off (a visitor will always see your desktop/tablet site, on any device). However, this is only possible when you have changed the default (the green check mark) to the 'product domain' (in the example below so demositehand.m.sitehand.nl ). Once you have done this, you can click the red 'stop sign' to remove the domain name.
You get one last warning:
If you agree, the domain name will be disconnected. Now only the 'product domain name' is in the list. Your mobile site can still be reached via this URL, but only if you type it directly.
When a visitor to your website (in this example) goes to your site via www.gebakshop.nl, they always see the desktop/tablet version of your site.
NOTE: It can take about 15 minutes to work everywhere on the internet!
