Add and manage downloads

With the 'Downloads' it is possible to place files on your website, such as PDF, Excel, Word or MP3 files. In this article you can read how you can work with the Download app.

Download groups

Before you can add (upload) a download, you must create a download group. You do this by clicking on 'groups' from the main menu of Ziber Team under the heading 'Downloads'. If you have not worked with the downloads before, you will see the text 'There are no groups available yet'. You can click on 'add download group' to add a new download group. The group names are important for your own management (so that you can easily find the downloads) and for the visitor of the website (you can refer to all downloads - the visitor can then navigate between the different download groups).

When you have created download groups, you can go back to the main menu to post downloads.

When you click on 'Downloads' from the main menu, you will arrive at the screen where you can upload downloads. At the top you can choose between the different download groups in which you want to add the relevant download. Below is how much space you have left, this varies per Ziber product (if you need more space, please contact us - 0224-290989 or support@ziber.nl ).

Click on 'Add Download' to add a new download. You will be taken to a subsequent screen where you will add the download. Click "Browse" or "Browse" to select the file from your computer. Then optionally give the download a name, date and description and click on 'continue' to place the download.

Depending on the size of the file, this may take a few minutes. After the upload is successful, you will return to the downloads screen, where you can add more downloads if necessary.

Manage downloads

When you go to 'Downloads' from the main menu, you enter the first download group. You can switch between the different groups at the top. Below you will see an overview of all added downloads. Behind each download you will see the file type, the file format, the arrows to sort the files, the edit and delete icons. Click on the blue edit icon to change a download (you can also upload a new file there).
