The 'Deck' is the starting point of your mobile website. A visitor will see the Deck if they go to your website by calling your domain name directly (on a mobile phone).
You can organize the Deck yourself from Ziber Team. When you go from the main menu to 'My [Ziber site]' (top right), you will see 'Deck' in the next menu. Click here to start organizing the Deck:
Organizing the Deck
From this screen you can arrange the Deck completely as you wish. You basically have a choice of 2 types of elements; dynamic content or fixed content. A fixed block contains a fixed content - defined by you - which, for example, refers to a page or an app (news, shop, etc). The dynamic block is automatically filled with 'dynamic content', based on relevance. The dynamic content can consist of: news items, agenda items and photo albums. The 'relevance' is determined by, for example, the start date. This way, the most relevant information is always at the top of the Deck.
In addition, there are 4 different 'sizes' for the blocks that you can add:
In the 2 smallest blocks you can only place 'fixed content' - no dynamic content. With the 2 large blocks you have the choice - dynamic or fixed. You can click on the 'plus' next to a desired size to add this block directly to your Deck. This will then appear at the top. You can select the blocks with the mouse and drag them to where you want them. This way you can fill all the space with the different block sizes.
Dynamic or fixed blocks
You can then select a block to configure it to your liking, in terms of content. When the block is selected, on the right side you will see the settings that you can make:
First of all you choose whether it is a 'fixed' or 'dynamic' block. Only with the 2 large blocks you can choose dynamic. The small blocks are always 'fixed'.
If you choose 'dynamic', there are no further settings that you need to make. This tile is then automatically filled with dynamic content (as mentioned before; this can be news items, agenda items and photo albums). The most relevant content is always at the top. This can be, for example, a new news item, but also an agenda item that takes place today. Your Deck can therefore look different every day, based on the dynamic content.
If you choose 'Fixed content', you will see a number of options - depending on the size of the tile. First of all you can choose the content type of this block. Here you choose from:
- Company photos
- Company Story
- To call
- Location
- Opening hours
- Pages
- Free
- To search
When choosing company photos, company story, location and Twitter you are not given any further options - these tiles are filled with the chosen content.
When choosing telephone, e-mail, Facebook, Linkedin and opening hours, you will be given the option to enter a 'Label'. What you enter in this field will be displayed in this tile as text. If you do not enter anything, the standard icon (a phone call when calling, an envelope when emailing, etc) is displayed on that tile. In the case of the opening hours, the opening hours will be shown in the large tile, the label you enter is the 'title' that will appear at the top of the tile.
For the content pages, free and search you will be given multiple options. At the option pages you can also enter a label, this will then be the text shown in this tile. In addition, you can choose where this tile may refer to after a visitor presses it. You can choose from 'the page list' or a specific page. When choosing free, you can also enter a label and you can also choose where the tile will refer to (ie a URL that you can fill in freely). When you choose search, you can create a tile that refers to specific content (news, agenda, photo albums and pages), possibly based on a tag. So you can create a tile that refers to, for example, all news items with the tag 'update'. After clicking this tile, the visitor to your mobile site will see a list of all news items that match that tag.
Add background image
You can also add a background image to tiles with a 'fixed content'. After adding the photo, you can also set an opacity that makes a photo 'darker', so that any text on the tile is more readable.
When you have added the photo, you will immediately see the photo on the screen and you can position and scale it so that it fits optimally in the tile you have chosen. When you are satisfied with the position, click on upload to confirm.
