Maybe your school has just started the switch to the new parent app, Kwieb. But what does this mean for you as a parent, and what can you do with the app? We explain that to you!
First of all, it is handy that you download the Kwieb app on your mobile phone. If you do not know how to do this, you can read this article: Download the Kwieb app in the AppStore or GooglePlay. Don't worry, the app takes up almost no space on your memory!
Tour in the Kwieb parent app
Posts and comments
The teacher can send messages to parents/guardians of the students at child, group or school level. Photos, video and files can also be attached to a message. You can comment or like a post. This makes the interaction between parents and the school very easy!

Secure photo albums
The app shares photos from your child's class or school in a safe environment. Only the parents of one student, the parents of the entire class or for all parents of all students in the school can view the photos intended for them.

Agenda/Activities + registration
In the Kwieb app you will find a clear agenda of all school activities that relate to your child(ren). You will receive notifications when there are new activities or when activities change. You can register if the teacher asks to participate. You can also easily add activities to your own agenda.

Schedule child conversations
A useful feature for you as a parent is being able to schedule, change, and cancel a child meeting from your school online. By means of a registration period, parents have, for example, a week to schedule an appointment to discuss the progress of your child. Within this registration period you can still change your registration with an available time left.

Register for school outings
The school often organizes various outings with the class, such as the school camp, school trips or an excursion. The teacher can create an activity in the Kwieb app and ask parents to participate and possibly a reaction. For example, you can register to make something for Christmas dinner, and indicate in the comment what you will make.

Report absences
Another useful feature of the app is the online reporting of your child's absences. You can easily call in your child for today or a date in the future (for example for a hospital visit), but also inform the teacher about the time for the dentist, doctor, marriage reasons or other circumstance. Very easy!

Receive (Emergency) notifications
Finally, the teacher can send you important messages. These notifications may consist of an important message that you should not miss. Handy, so that you are immediately informed if, for example, the children are out earlier or later!
