For example, when someone from school sends a message or activity to Kwieb (that is relevant to your child), you will receive a notification . Through the notification you know that there is something new in Kwieb! This way you can easily stay informed of everything that has happened since the last time you opened Kwieb. Because there are different types of notifications, this article explains more about them.
We distinguish 4 different notifications in Kwieb
The different notifications are described below so you know what they do for you!
1. App Notification
These are notifications that you will find in the Kwieb app itself under the 'Notifications' section. You can find the app notifications by tapping the menu icon in the top right of Kwieb and then choosing Notifications. Here you will see all the notifications you have received so far. You can recognize new (unread) notifications by the "new" label. When you tap a notification, you go directly to the item described in the notification (for example, a message or activity).
Tip: When you have visited this notification overview, all notifications will be saved as "READ" and the badge notification will be set to 0!

2. Badge notification
When you have unread app notifications in the Kwieb app, a red dot will appear next to the Kwieb icon on your phone, so that you know that there is something new to see in Kwieb.
Tip: Is your badge notification not going away and is the number in the red dot getting higher and higher? Then go to the notifications overview in the Kwieb app (see point 1) and all notifications will be saved as "READ" and the badge notification will be set to 0!
3. Push Notification
Optionally, you can set an app notification to also send a push notification to your phone. This way you are actively informed about new notifications.

4. Email notification
Optionally, you can set an app notification to also send an email notification to your mailbox. For example, you will be actively informed by e-mail if there is something new to see in Kwieb.
Tip: Want to turn email notifications on/off? https://support.ziber.nl/hc/nl/articles/360000519637

Emergency notification
Finally, there is the so-called "Emergency Report". An emergency notification is an app notification + push notification + email notification that can not be "turned off" by you as a parent. School can send this Emergency Alert if parents need to be reached at the last minute with a short announcement.
