Ziber Team & Kwieb (for the school team)

Your school will start with the switch to new parent communication from Ziber. But what does this mean for you as a teacher, IB'er, director or administration and what can you do with the app? We explain that to you!

Ziber Team app

Ziber Team is the app for the school team that puts you in control of all parent communication. You can install Ziber Team from the Apple Appstore or the Google Playstore or use it via https://gnap.ziber.nl . Through your school or Ziber you have received an invitation to your email address and you can log in. You will then enter the Dashboard where you will find all relevant information and from which you can arrange all communication with the team and the parents.

Kwieb app

Kwieb is Ziber's parent app. This app is used by all parents of your school or child center. The parent receives all information about all children to which the parent is linked in Kwieb. The parent can also arrange many things in the Kwieb app (private conversation with the teacher, respond to messages from the teacher, report absences, schedule conversations, change profile,.. and much more).

Have private conversations via Topics

An important function within Ziber Team en Kwieb is 'Topics'. This allows parents and teachers to have 1-on-1 (or possibly with multiple teachers/team members) conversations/chats.

Share posts, comments and likes

The school team can send messages to parents/guardians of the students at child, group or school level. Photos, videos and files can be attached to a message. Parents can respond to the message in Kwieb or leave a like (if enabled by you). This makes the interaction between parents and the school very easy!

Do not disturb function (Ziber Team)

You can put your Ziber Team on Do not disturb so that there are no active push and email notifications be sent to you. However, the notifications will remain visible in the notifications overview and a red dot (badge notification) will also appear on your phone next to your Ziber Team icon. You will be alone (temporarily) not disturbed .

Schedule child conversations

A useful function for the teacher is the ability to create a conversation planner. This is created in no time at all and then parents have the time during a registration period to schedule (and change) an appointment via Kwieb.

Activities with registration lists

You can easily place all school and/or group activities in Ziber Team and share them with parents via Kwieb. Parents will then see the activities (relevant to them) in their agenda in Kwieb. You can also ask parents for help/participation for each activity. For example, parents can register to make something for Christmas dinner or to help with a workshop.

Absence notifications and leave requests

A useful function for you and parents is the absence notification. Parents can report their child sick via Kwieb (if the school has enabled this) and the report goes directly to the child's teacher and is stored in the administration. The relevant teacher will also see today's sick report(s) on the Dashboard in Ziber Team. The school team itself can also enter absences in Ziber Team via Ziber Team. Then you can do so from the Dashboard or via the absence list. Very easy!

Secure photo albums

The school team can safely share photo albums (many photos) with selected parents to the Kwieb app. You can choose various levels to share via Ziber Team; Only the parents of one or a few selected pupil(s), the parents of one or more groups or all the parents of the school can view the photos intended for them.

Send (Emergency) Notifications

Finally, you can send short notifications to parents who are very important. These notifications can consist of an important message that parents should not miss. Handy, so that parents are immediately informed if, for example, the children are out earlier or later!
