When do you actually use a newsletter?

When your school/child center uses the Kwieb parent app, you will notice that teachers and parents are increasingly working 'in the moment'. Parents are often aware of what is going on in their child's group. And the director more often posts separate messages and updates to the parents via Kwieb (which used to be via the Newsletter).

Nevertheless, we notice that both parents and school still like to use the Newsletter to give parents a complete picture of what has happened at the 'entire school' and which activities are coming up at school. In addition, the newsletter is also gladly used to inform 'potential parents' and interested parties (environment of the school or family/acquaintances of the children) about the ins and outs of the school.

Create newsletter

From the Dashboard, choose 'Newsletters' in the menu

Title & Intro text

Then fill in the open fields. Only the Title is a required field. There you can enter, for example, "Newsletter and then the week number". With the Intro text you can place a piece of text that will be used as an introduction at the top of the newsletter. You can also leave this text blank if you select only existing messages and activities!

Messages & Activities

You can then easily tick all kinds of messages and/or activities that you (or your colleagues) have placed on the website. These are then automatically included in the e-mail newsletter that will be sent.

View example?

In between, you can preview the email newsletter you are creating at any time. Select a layout that appeals to you at the bottom of the screen and then click the magnifying glass to view an example.

You will then be asked to save your newsletter. Just choose YES there and then see what your email newsletter will look like, for example:

The design (colors, background color, header, footer,.. etc) is set by your designer. If you would like this differently, please contact your designer.

Are you satisfied? Then you can start sending the newsletter!

Select target group

If you like the e-mail newsletter, you can then select a target group to send the newsletter to. Here you can choose from two types of addresses, namely;

1. Parents in Kwieb (only if your school uses the Kwieb app)
2. Newsletter groups (only if your school uses a Ziber website)

At the selection "Parents in Kwieb" you can select the school, groups or individual children. You will then always reach the parents/guardians of your selection.

In the selection Newsletter groups you can select groups that you have created yourself and to which (anonymous) people subscribe or unsubscribe via your Ziber website.

Send

When you have made all the above settings, you can first send yourself a "test e-mail". This will then be sent directly to your own mailbox.

When you are satisfied with this, click on the "Send" button and your newsletter will be automatically sent by the Ziber platform.
