Overview of how notifications work in Ziber Team and Kwieb

The Ziber Team app is used by the school/daycare team and notifications keep you informed of important events . For example, if your duo sends a message to the parents of your group, you can receive a notification. But also, for example, if a parent responds to a message that you yourself have placed to the Kwieb parent app.

When you use Ziber Team, you decide for yourself which events you will or will not receive a notification (see also Notification settings ). You can also choose to use the Do Not Disturb function , which can temporarily turn off all notifications for you, also based on a time schedule.

We distinguish 4 different types of notifications

There are 4 different types of notifications that a teacher/PM'er in Ziber Team and a parent in Kwieb can receive. These are:

1. app notification
2. badge notification
3. push notification
4. e-mail notification

Emergency notification

Finally, there is the so-called 'Emergency notification'. An emergency notification is an app notification + push notification + email notification in Kwieb that you can send to the parents from Ziber Team. This cannot be 'turned off' by the parents. You can send this emergency message from Ziber Team, for example when parents need to be reached at the last minute with a short message.
