Overview of all possible notifications for parents
Below is a complete overview of all possible notifications that parents can receive about new content from you as a teacher/school team member. When a green or empty circle is ' disabled ' (i.e. not clickable, recognizable by a somewhat 'vague' hue), parents cannot turn this option on or off:
Parents can therefore indicate per component whether they would prefer to receive an email notification, a push notification or both.
What does a push notification look like?
Below you can see how parents get a push notification on the phone. An iPhone (Apple) on the left and an Android phone on the right:
Below is a detailed description of when notifications are sent per content type:

- halfway through the registration period: Reminder to parents who have not yet registered
- 1 day before the end of the registration period: Last reminder to parents who have not yet registered
- When parent has chosen a timeslot: Confirmation to parents of the child with the chosen timeslot
- A reminder to the parent when the conversation is almost over.
- When parent or teacher cancels a selected timeslot: Cancellation of selected timeslot

(Emergency) Notification
As can be seen from the description above, the Ziber platform sends various notifications to inform parents about information that you publish. As a teacher, you also have the option to send a "separate (emergency) notification" to parents without this notification referring to, for example, a message or activity.
Examples of sending individual notifications are:
- we will come back later from school trip
- the evening four days is canceled due to severe weather
- Due to nice weather, please rub the children well

Tip: Depending on the parent's personal settings, a notification to a parent consists of an email, push notification, badge notification and app notification. Do you want to know how this works?
