Create poll

Ask the parents a question? Create a poll via the Ziber Team app. Parents can easily respond to the poll via the Kwieb parent app.

How do I ask the parents a question via the poll?

1. Click Add Poll
2. Ask a Question
3. Add the answers

Step 1 - Add Poll

Simply create a new poll. Create the new poll via the green plus button at the bottom of the Ziber Team menu:

Are you working from the desktop version of Ziber Team? Then choose the green button 'New' at 'Polls' from the dashboard.

Step 2 - Ask a question

What question would you like to ask the parents? The parents can respond to the question by means of a multiple choice answer:

Tip: the question can contain a maximum of 50 characters.

Step 3 - Add the answers

Add multiple answers for parents to vote for. You must enter at least 2 answers:

Tip: If you want a different order, you can sort the answers. Click on the 'sort' button and move the answers in the desired order.

Step 4 - Options: Free Answer

When you choose options for a free answer , the parents can choose 'Other', where they can then fill in their own answer. You can see these free answers in the results:

Step 5 - Display Results

When displaying the results, you can choose from 3 options:

• Never
• Show immediately after filling in
• Show after end date

Never - The parents are only thanked for their vote. The parents will not see the results on their timeline.

Show immediately after filling in - After voting, the parents will immediately see the current result via a tile on their timeline. When there are new voters, the tile adapts.

Show after the end date - After voting, the parents will receive a thank you and the message that the result can be seen after the end date. The result will then appear on the parents' timeline after the end date.

Step 6 - Start and End Date

First, indicate a start date for this poll:

The poll for parents will go online at the start date. At the start date, all parents (if they have set this up) will receive a notification that a new poll is ready. The poll appears in Kwieb's timeline and the parents can vote directly.

Then enter an end date and time. After this moment, the parents can no longer vote. When the results are shared after the end date and the parent has the poll result notifications 'on', the parent will receive a notification that the results are known. The results will be visible on the parents' timeline.

Tip: Want to pull the results from the parents' timeline over time? You can easily archive a poll via the overview . If you leave this online, it drops on the timeline and can always be read back for the parents.

Step 7 - Share in Kwieb
