Which functions do not work if I protect my name?

Kwieb is a parent app that is made available to you from the educational institution with the aim of promoting parent communication and connection with school. You have the choice not to share your name with other parents in Kwieb. This has (almost) no impact on functional functions with school, but does have an impact on functions within Kwieb between parents.

Which functions are disabled if I shield my name?

When you choose to hide your name, photo and role from your child in your profile in Kwieb, you have become "anonymous" for other parents of your school. Because a number of social interactions are possible in Kwieb between parents who affect the children or the school community, they will be canceled due to the privacy policy.

Function in Kwieb	Effect
Other parents will see your name, profile picture and role towards your child if:
Your parent profile	Can't be done by other parents being watched
Comments	You can't post a comment under a group message
likes	You can't give likes with a message from school
Participation activity	When school has placed an activity with a request for parent participation, you cannot specify your participation via Kwieb. You will not receive any notification of this either.
Topics - multiple parents	You can use Topics, but as soon as multiple parents participate in a group conversation, other parents will see you as "Protected"
Topics - new topic	When a parent starts a Topic (conversation) from Kwieb, you as a parent cannot be added to this conversation by that parent.
Group discussion in topics	Other parents cannot select you from Kwieb for a group discussion.
POLL	When school shares a POLL with parents, you can't see it and vote. You will also not receive a notification of a new POLL.
Groups	You cannot see which groups your child(ren) have been placed in
Children	You cannot see which children are in your child's group
Child profiles	You cannot view profiles of other children from the school
Parent Profiles	You cannot view profiles of other parents from the school

Note: Protecting your name works within Kwieb, so that other parents cannot see you. The school uses the Ziber Team app, where your name is visible.
