When an inactive account is linked to a child profile, it can be deleted by an active account linked to this child profile.
When is an account inactive?
When a parent creates an account but does not activate it via the activation email, this account will not become active. This can happen when a parent accidentally creates an account with the wrong e-mail address (for example a typo). The parent can then directly link a child to his account (without activating the account first).
Who can delete the inactive account?
A parent with an active account associated with the same child can delete the inactive account .
How do I delete the inactive account?
You can delete the inactive account by going to the child profile via your own profile. You can see which accounts are linked to your child's profile. When an account is not activated, a red delete button will appear behind the account. When you click the delete button, the account will be disconnected from your child:
Tip: If you or your partner used the pairing code for an inactive account, you cannot use the code again. You can ask the school for a new invitation/pairing code.
