As a parent council/OWG, you want to collect the parental contribution and any other funds from the parents via the Kwieb app. For this you need a Stripe account (Stripe is the payment platform where all funds are processed and transferred).
Before you start rolling in at Stripe, it is useful to know what the situation is for you as a parent council, so that you can enter the information correctly (and prevent your account from being closed).
Who owns the bank account?
We use it Stripe payment platform for handling financial transactions. A Stripe account is therefore required to use Ziber Pay on the Ziber platform. As a parent council, you can create a Stripe account via Ziber Team.
Stripe is supervised by the government/DNB and has the duty to verify the identity of its relations. When creating a Stripe account, it is very important that you enter the details of the 'UBO' (Ultimate Beneficial Owner). So the first question you should ask yourself is: who is the ultimate (legal) owner of our bank account? There can be a number of situations:
A. We have our own Chamber of Commerce number and the bank account is in our own name
B. Our bank account is managed by the umbrella school foundation
C. Our bank account is managed by the school
D. Our bank account is managed by another umbrella organization
