Import an EDEXml file into Ziber Team

As an administrator, you import an EDEXml file from your student information system into Ziber Team. Ziber Team uses it to create groups, place students in them and link team members to their groups.

Import an EDEXml file into Ziber Team

You import the EDEXml file in Ziber Team on a computer. The Ziber Team mobile app doesn't support EDEXml import. Export the file from your student information system with all groups and all students selected, so Ziber Team receives your complete school.

1. Log in to Ziber Team on your computer.
2. On the dashboard, click Settings.
3. Click Synchronizations.
4. Click Choose Edex file.
5. Click Select file and choose the EDEXml file you exported.

Ziber Team creates the groups and places the students and team members in them.

Update Ziber Team with a new EDEXml file

You can upload a new EDEXml file to Ziber Team at any time. Ziber Team applies the changes in the file, such as new students or a teacher who moves to another group.

Always export the complete school file from your student information system: all groups, all students and all teachers. Don't export a selection.
