Report your child absent from childcare

Is your child sick or absent for another reason? You can report this quickly and easily via the Kwieb app.

Step-by-step: report absence

1. Open the Agenda in the Kwieb app.
2. Select the day and the childcare session for which you want to report your child absent.
3. Tap the "Report absent" button (Report sick or absent).
4. Select the period (if it concerns multiple days) or confirm the specific session.
5. Check the childcare sessions you want to cancel.
6. Add a comment if you like.
7. Tap "Submit request".

Important to know

Absence reports are processed immediately. Depending on the rules of your childcare organization, you may receive 'swap credit' for reporting an absence in time. You can find the status of your absence report in the Requests overview.
